In this second workshop we’ll be working with the digitised video files produced by the British Film Institute over August and September. Twenty-three hours of video were captured. Knowle West Media Centre is inviting people from the community to come to this workshop so that we can crowdsource metadata about the places and people we see in the frame. Peter Lewis, who initiated Knowle West TV in the 1970s, will be participating and answering people’s questions about the archive, which will now be held at Bristol Record Office and made available to all through Map your Bristol and the University of Local Knowledge.
