Schools History project
We’re working with two schools in the area – St Mary Redcliffe and Temple School and St Katherine’s School – to explore how they can engage with Bristol’s heritage and culture. Year 9 students from St Mary Redcliffe and Temple are investigating their own family history, whilst Year 7 students at St Katherine’s are looking at local stories and ideas that will inspire a creative writing project. With both schools, we are considering what tools the students might need to help them with their research and how they want to share and celebrate the work that they have done. We are also working with the schools to investigate the possibilities for them, and other schools, to use the resources from this project in future activities.
