Every October it’s International Home Movie Day. If you have video or film in your attic or stored away in old boxes and you don’t know how to view it or what to do with it, get in touch with your local archive or film society to see whether they might be running a Home Movie Day near you. They can also help you answer questions you might have about both playing and preserving older media formats. Your local archive is always interested in any film or video that you might have that provides new information about the history and heritage of your locality.
