Vaughan postcard exhibition now on

The Vaughan postcard exhibition is now on in the foyer of the Bristol Record Office. The exhibition displays and celebrates the volunteer work carried out for this strand of Know Your Bristol On the Move. The displays highlight just a small number of the thousands of postcards in the Roy Vaughan collection now included on the project’s layer on Know Your Place. The exhibition also features comments from some of our volunteers on the process of researching the postcards, and an occasional piece of speculation about, for instance, the sender of the postcard.

The exhibition runs from March until 17 July 2015; we will then be taking the exhibition with us on further Know Your Bristol events.
